Boy, it feels good to be riding again!

Rode to the mall the other night on the FJR with the wife. It was nice, but ultra-windy. I was all over the lane.

Yesterday, I rode Burgertime to the train station. Even a short 1.6 mile commuting ride feels good after a long winter.

This weekend, it is raining and 40°F. Next week, more rain and maybe snow. But at least we got a taste. Fellow midwesterners will know my pain.

I would love to move, but it is tougher than that. Family is here, work is here, and houses just aren't selling right now. Not only that, but moving takes money too.

See you on the road!

  1. Hello Jeremy: This is a comment from Mrs. Dowelmax. Jim wants to thank you for all the comments on his various blog entries, but it takes him a while to type out each response (he is new to blogging). Also thanks for the link, great blogspot you have, even if you are not a "biker person", it is very interesting. Thanks also for your ongoing support of Dowelmax. We are doing okay considering the dreadful state of our combined economies. We are still on vacation in Maui and will be back home next week. Jim is the only person who writes the blog, but Mike often responds from our Email on Gmail. I know it's not always clear who is writing until you reach the bottom. But as far as the blog goes, it's Jim's baby. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks he has taken on something that is much more time consuming that he expected! LOL But he loves the contact it gives him with our customers.

    Jim will comment soon.
